Carrying a rather unique look with dove-grey toning and some darker obverse streaks, this better Philadelphia Mint issue appears rather flat when viewed straight-on but displays a mild prooflike effect in the fields when held in direct lighting. From a very low mintage of just 182,000 pieces uncirculated pieces are quite difficult making pleasing AU survivors such as this highly desirable!
