PCGS Price Guide MS 67= 2,500. This is 100% a business strike coin, it's not a satin strike mistakenly graded as Mint State 67.

Satin strike MS67 (technically should be classified as SP67) are not worth that much. For some reason ANACS, PCGS, and NGC improperly listed a whole lot of SP67s as MS67s. That's why you'll see a lot of "MS67" Fillmore's that look satin, because they are satin strikes. This coin is a Mint State 67 coin (it's not a specimen or SP). The price guide from PCGS "67" corresponds to the grade. Usually grades go from 1-69 but for most graded coins anything between 60-70 is considered mint state or uncirculated.

The "position B" corresponds to the text around the coin. Position B means the text reads right-side up when the coin is in the heads position. The coin is priced the way it is because I use PCGS's (Professional Coin Grading Service) price guide for this coin. PCGS sets prices and also grades coin, they are the foremost expert on USA coins. This coin was graded by ANACS which is one of the big 4 grading organizations (PCGS, NGC, ANACS, ICG).

When coins get to a certain grade (67-70) the price tends to go up exponentially due to the rarity of finding a coin with few if any flaws.
