2014 x 4 Eagle $1 MS69 NGC San Francisco Label 1oz 0.999 Silver total 44.01m
Silver Eagle coins were first released in 1986 and are now produced at one of the US Mint's two plants in either San Francisco or West Point, New York. On the front of the coin is the Lady Liberty design by Adolph Alexander Weinman, an American sculptor. Here the lady is wearing an American flag while the sun rises behind her, with the word LIBERTY emblazoned along the top of the coin. Behind her leg is the phrase'In God We Trust' and at the base of the coin is the year's date - 2014. The reverse of the coin is the classic US herald design of the Eagle and the Shield, as created by John Mercanti. It features 13 stars, which represent the original colonies of America, and features the traditional Latin'E Pluribus Unum' which means'Out of Many, One'.
