The centering is definitely above average, notice the Rim is complete with the indentions going all the way around (typically, theres a minor shift and some of these indentions are missing). This type (in Spain) at that period was Roller Pressed as opposed to struck, so there typically is a soft spot(s) in the devices (generally the cross is weak, but Not not this piece). The soft spot on this piece is at the top of the 71 in the date, but Clearly its legible 1718. Again, the LUSTER is well above average, even for a Mint State.
We have a 1712 in grade 63 with incredible Luster and this piece certainly is its rival. The Obverse has excellent detail and Luster as well. When working on a Set / Collection of these ever so popular Spanish Doubloons, this is THE ONLY ONE!
